About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Cartersville, GA.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a medical surgical setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage oxygen administration and peripheral lines.
- Assist with non-invasive airway management and wound care.
- Collaborate with rapid response and code teams.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in medical surgical settings preferred.
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.
- Skills in oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and wound care.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE.
- Experience with medical surgical nursing.
