About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join their team in Anderson, SC.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a surgical setting.
- Administer blood products and manage colostomy/ileostomy, feeding tubes, and other medical devices.
- Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE usage.
- Manage surgical drains and perform orthopedic trauma care.
- Administer PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia), oxygen, and peripheral line care.
- Participate in total joint replacement procedures and orthopedic skills.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with the listed skills.
Qualifications
- Passport required for travel assignments.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including 3x12-hour shifts starting at 18:45.
