About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join their team in Fishersville, VA.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical surgical setting.
- Administer blood products and manage feeding tubes.
- Administer medications such as heparin, insulin, PCA, and others.
- Perform high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), oxygen administration, and peripheral line care.
- Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE.
- Manage intravenous (IV) lines and PICC lines.
- Assist with oral suctioning and telemetry monitoring.
Requirements
- Current Virginia RN license.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with the skills listed under 'Skills'.
Qualifications
- Experience with Telemetry - remote monitoring.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).
