Pay

$1,924 to $2,123 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Patient Ratios: 6 patients per nurse on nights
• Weekends: 6 patients per nurse
• Start Date: 09/21/2026

Responsibilities & Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
• Charting System: Meditech (experience required)
• Required Certifications & Skills:
  • Blood Product Administration
  • Central line blood draw
  • Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
  • Colostomy/ileostomy management/care
  • Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
  • Feeding tube care and management
  • Heparin and Insulin administration
  • Isolation Precautions/PPE
  • Med/Surg experience
  • Nasal Cannula
  • Ortho trauma
  • PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
  • Peripheral Line Care/Management
  • Phlebotomy
  • PICC line management
  • Starting and maintaining IVs
  • Total joint replacement
  • Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licensure: Active VA License or Compact License (Quick License State — application process takes 2 weeks or less)
• Previous Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred
