Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care within the 3B TELE MED SURG unit.
- Perform and document regular neurological assessments, including the NIH Stroke Scale.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, responding to changes in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with stroke core measures, including dysphagia screening, education, and care plans.
- Administer medications using Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA) standards.
- Coordinate patient care with an interdisciplinary team, including providers, therapy, and case management.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment.
- Maintain a focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and overall patient safety.
