About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Weirton, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring medical-surgical treatment
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills

- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)

Pay
