About the role
Lifepoint is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Hickory, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 355-bed facility including specialized centers like the Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU.
- Provide care in a 32-bed emergency department, 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, 15-bed surgical suite, and imaging services.
- Treat patients at Frye South Campus, which includes an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.
- Utilize Cerner electronic health records system.
Requirements
- Must be within 60 miles of the assigned location to qualify for the local rate.
- Experience with Cerner is required.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
