Medical Solutions is seeking a travel RN for a Medical‑Surgical unit in Richmond, Virginia. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment offering flexibility, high pay, and a fully furnished, pet‑friendly housing package.

Schedule

12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week duration.

Unit Information

• Number of beds: 21
• Total department FTEs: 30.66
• Day shift staff: 1 Charge RN, 4 Staff Nurses, 2 PCTs
• Night shift staff: 1 Charge RN, 3 Staff Nurses, 2 PCTs (until 2300)
• Patient ratio: 5:1
• Equipment: IV pumps, feeding pumps, etc.
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

Experience providing total patient care for medical‑surgical patients.

Skills

• Operation of IV pumps, feeding pumps, and related medical equipment
• Proficiency with the Meditech EMR system
• Ability to function effectively in a 5:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio environment
