Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cerner, strong IV competency, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a busy environment.

• Provide patient care for adult and geriatric populations in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and update care plans as required.
• Floate as needed to surgical, neuro, and intermediate care units to assist with patient management.
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, and PCA pumps in daily operations.
• Document patient care and treatment accurately in the Cerner electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NC or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Cerner experience is mandatory.
• IV competency is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
