About the role

Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (MS ONC) position in Concord, Massachusetts. This role involves providing care on an oncology floor with a focus on chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no night or weekend shifts, though a rotation may include call responsibilities approximately once every 11 weeks.

Schedule

• Dayshift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
• 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Call rotation approximately once every 11 weeks (may include Saturdays)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on an oncology floor
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
• Work with 18 chairs for chemotherapy treatments

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts RN license or RN license from a Canadian province (can be obtained at time of offer)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration
• Ambulatory care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (preferred but not required)
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) (can be obtained at time of offer)
