Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- 1 year of experience specifically in Inpatient Med/Surg or Oncology
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Travel experience is not required
- IV start skills are required
- Skills in accessing/managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and various cancer care skills are listed as required or preferred
- WV or Compact RN License required; a pending license is accepted for submission
- Flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions only
- Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
- Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association (AHA) – required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) through American Heart Association (AHA) – required
- NIHSS certification – required
- ONS chemo/bio cert – preferred
- Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN – preferred
