Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse - $2,253 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Medical Surgical Oncology unit, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing services to patients. The role requires a compassionate approach to patient care while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care and support to oncology patients.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their health status.
• Administer medications and chemotherapy, adhering to safety protocols.
• Absorb patient education related to treatments and side effects.
• Cook interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, CHEMO (ONS/ONCC).
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
