This position involves providing exceptional patient care within a combined Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit and stepdown unit. The role requires flexibility to float as needed and focus on delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical Float
• Specialty Location: Pittsburg, KS
• Shift: Days, 3X12 hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS certifications
• Valid RN license
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• Ability to float as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ICU, stepdown, or telemetry units
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system

Responsibilities

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Cooking patient discharge planning
• Serving as a primary discipline coordinator for patient care
• Absessing and communicating patient conditions effectively
• Ensuring well-coordinated care among healthcare team members

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
