Travel Medical Sonographer - $2,357 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Sonographers for contract assignments at a partnering hospital in Warrenton, Virginia. This is a 13‑week travel contract with the possibility to extend, offering 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.

Qualifications

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Two years of recent relevant experience.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay: $2,186 – $2,357 per week. The weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals; exact tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.

Schedule
