Travel Medical Laboratory Technologist - Blood Bank - $1,820 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a hospital contract in Woodstock, Virginia. This is a 13‑week travel assignment (12‑week duration noted) with a start date of ASAP. The position is full‑time at 40 hours per week, 10‑hour shifts, scheduled 11:00–21:30. The role requires a generalist with Blood Bank and Epic/Beaker experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Utilize EPIC/Beaker EMR systems to document and manage laboratory data.
• Work rotating weekends and mid‑shift hours as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with all laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care through laboratory services.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist with Blood Bank and Epic experience.
• BLS certification (AHA only) — preferred but not required.
• ASCP or AMT certification.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,741.67 – $1,828.75 (based on 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
