Travel Medical Laboratory Technologist - $2,259 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract in Philadelphia, PA (start 11/16/2026). The assignment is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. This is not a Medical Assistant position.

Requirements

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, or AAB
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience
• State license may be required
• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment and generating reports from laboratory tests

Responsibilities

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to ascertain a wide variety of information
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites
• Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to help ensure medications are at their most therapeutic levels
• Analyze the chemical content of blood to determine nutrient deficiencies or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars
• Operate cell counters, cultures, microscopes, and other laboratory equipment
• Follow the lab’s protocol for analyzing, interpreting, and delivering test results
