Travel Medical ICU RN - $1,790 per week

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) environment, with a focus on complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. The role requires collaboration with the care team to ensure patient safety and comfort, along with flexibility to float to different units and hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse license for the state of Alabama or a compact license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• At least 2 years of NICU experience, or 18 months with at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals.
• Availability to work holidays and every other weekend as required by the facility.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
