About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical intensive care to critically ill patients
- Perform complex assessments and interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- At least one year of acute care experience preferred
- Experience in MICU setting preferred
- NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage high-stress situations
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
