Travel Medical Acute Care RN - $2,265 per week

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in step-down/telemetry units to provide excellent patient care in an adult and geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for step-down and telemetry patients with a focus on their needs and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR systems (Paragon and Pyxis).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure effective monitoring of vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans and facilitate interventions.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Active RN license required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay & Schedule

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
