Travel Medical 7C RN - $2,395 per week

About the role

PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a job in Peoria, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Med Surg patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with daily patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in Med Surg setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights.
