About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves providing care for primarily adult patients with a broad range of medical conditions, including pre- and post-surgical care, as well as managing illness with pharmaceutical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg or PCU setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
