About the Role

This position is for a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry, providing care to trauma, surgical, ortho, and urology patients in a fast-paced unit that values interdisciplinary collaboration.

The nurse must be willing to float to other units and hospitals, handle holiday and weekend coverage, and work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a trauma and surgical environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced unit
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Work 12-hour night shifts, including holidays and weekends

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing
• AHA BLS and Red Cross certifications
• Active Alabama or Compact RN license
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent, relevant experience in the specialty

Skills

• Strong teamwork and adaptability
• Excellent patient care in a trauma and surgical setting

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Holiday and weekend coverage required
