Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac data, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Analyze cardiac telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Ensure patient safety and coordinate with healthcare teams

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification
