Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $3,000 per week

Responsibilities

• Work 4×12‑hour shifts for a total of 48 hours per week (36 hours per week can be accommodated if preferred).
• Participate in holiday rotation, expected to work 1‑2 of the 3 upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) unless the unit is closed.
• Float to all pertinent locations within the unit as required.
• Weekend requirement: every other or every third weekend, depending on staffing and census.
• Provide care for a variety of medical‑surgical patients with patient ratios of 4‑5 patients per nurse on a 15‑bed unit with remote telemetry monitoring.

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Med Surg/Med Surg Telemetry.
• Active Iowa license or compact multistate license at time of submission.
• Experience caring for a variety of medical‑surgical patients.
• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Experience with heparin drips required.
• Telemetry and cardiac experience highly preferred.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• Preceptorship experience a plus.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
