Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
- Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Psychiatric and Telemetry.
- Traveler will be responsible for self‑studying telemetry strips upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given during orientation and must be passed to work in the float pool.
Requirements
- ACLS required.
- EPIC EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months.
- Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend rotation required.
- Every other holiday rotation required.
