About the role

The role of the Registered Nurse involves providing care to patients who meet the Medicine or Med Tele admission criteria. The nursing position requires a higher degree of proficiency due to the complexities of the medical-surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year Med Surg Tele experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or another professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
• 1-2 years of Med Surg or Tele experience.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, rotating day/night; weekend and holiday rotation required; 36 hours per week; 13-week duration; start ASAP; overtime paid at the regular, all-inclusive rate; holiday coverage is mandatory.
