Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN - $2,355 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Elmira, New York. The position starts 11/08/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Maintain proficiency in a wide variety of health conditions typical of a Med‑Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
