VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. We’re currently looking for a MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a Hospital contract.

• Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience
• Previous travel experience REQUIRED
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license IN HAND
• Epic proficiency REQUIRED
• Previous experience caring for Neurology/Stroke patients

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neurology and stroke patients in a hospital setting during night shifts.
• Follow patient ratio guidelines, typically 1:7, and ensure compliance with all protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Maintain certification and license requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Participate in required holiday and shift rotations, including working two of the three winter holidays.
