Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $2,164 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Chesapeake, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a night shift schedule of 19:00 to 07:30. The position requires a minimum of two years of recent relevant experience, with previous travel experience preferred. Candidates must hold an active Virginia or Compact RN license and be proficient in Epic. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to post-surgical patients, including urology and GYN surgical populations.
• Manage patient care in a high-volume post-surgical environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic.
• Work the scheduled night shift and adhere to patient ratios of 1:7.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license (no exceptions).
• Proficiency in Epic (no exceptions).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Pay range: $2,070.40 - $2,173.92 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:30.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13-week contract starting 09/14/2026.
