Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $1,964 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, attending to a diverse patient population with various diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD, renal failure, and more. The nurse will function within a collaborative team and respond to critical situations while utilizing advanced telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients on telemetry.
• Provide nursing care for patients with varied medical and surgical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage associated conditions.
• Conduct pre and post-operative patient assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including rapid response and code teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry environments.
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in managing colostomy/ileostomy, feeding tubes, and central lines strongly preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights; Schedule: Night shift; 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15); 36 hours per week; Start Date: 10/26/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; Location: New Hanover, NC (Wilmington, NC).
