Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $1,959 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position available in Lima, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria.
• Utilize age-specific criteria while caring for patients.
• Teach and direct non-RN staff in patient care processes.
• Maintain and manage cardiac medications, including titration and application.
• Monitor and manage telemetry, recognizing heart rhythms.
• Identify signs/symptoms of stroke and adjust care accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Nursys must show active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License.
• Competent in telemetry with knowledge of heart rhythms.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee and every other weekend.
