Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $1,941 per week

About the role

We are seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role involves general medical administration, post-operative patient care, and remote tele-monitoring under the supervision of a monitoring technician.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide patient care according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Floate to Med Surg Tele as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6 (maximum surge plan of 1:7).

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Cerner documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Cerner documentation.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
