Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Morgantown, West Virginia. Start date: 10/19/2026. 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. The MedSurg Registered Nurse will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a dynamic 34‑bed unit, managing patient assignments based on acuity and delivering exceptional care in a collaborative environment. Key duties include patient assessments, medication administration, and supporting interdisciplinary team efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.
• Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in MedSurg or similar settings.
• Current RN License (WV or Compact License accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association).
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
