Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN - $1,857 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a contract position in a hospital setting in Chesapeake, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing opportunity specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry. The contract is for 13 weeks with the possibility of extension, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in medical-surgical and telehealth units.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in required shifts, including every other weekend, floating, and holiday shifts (including winter holidays).

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
• Minimum of two years of travel nursing experience.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license (no exceptions).
• Proficiency in Epic (no exceptions).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Pay range: $1,965.28 - $2,063.54 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Day, 3x12-Hour).
