Job Description The Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a fast-paced, 10-bed admission unit that caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a rapid admission environment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients. Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a dynamic admission unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Assist with patient admissions and manage rapid turnover in patient loads. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry specialty. Active RN license with Nursys license verification required. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Must provide a comprehensive work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
