Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $1,699 per week

About the role

As a TELE Travel Nurse, you will provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. These devices send data to computer screens for RNs to monitor. Telemetry RNs read and interpret the data to help determine patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Interpret and record electronic displays from monitoring equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience (Telemetry/Med‑Surg preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
