Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $1,687 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13‑week contract in Amarillo, Texas, starting 10/19/2026. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of inpatient Med/Surg experience with Telemetry, involving care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast‑paced setting, managing a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and following isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Med/Surg patient population with Telemetry monitoring.
• Provide assistance and support to interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
• Adhere to safety protocols and patient care standards, including management of isolation precautions.
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Med/Surg experience, including Telemetry.
• BLS certification required.
• Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months).
• State or Compact RN license required at time of submittal.
