Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,181 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN to provide high-quality nursing care in a team-oriented environment. This role requires proficient knowledge in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and effective communication within a care team including LPNs and PCAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a maximum of 8 patients as part of a team nursing model.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as necessary.
• Manage peripheral line care and oxygen administration.
• Maintain isolation precautions and infection control measures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN within the past year.
• Valid NY State RN License.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with charting systems is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Skills

• Proficient in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
• Effective communication skills within a care team.
• Experience with peripheral line care and oxygen administration.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and infection control measures.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
