Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,121 per week
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This position requires a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with a focus on telemetry patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in patient management and care coordination in a dynamic hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments and document changes in condition and response to treatment.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and post-discharge care plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
- Active and permanent Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is required.
- Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
