Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,000 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Schedule

• Night 3x12-Hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Float is required if needed
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including observation patients and those with respiratory conditions. The candidate will be responsible for managing care related to end-of-life and hospice patients, psychiatric observations, and patients with diabetes complications. The position requires proficient EKG interpretation and passing a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition
• Manage chest tubes, feeding tubes, and IV lines
• Interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions
• Provide care for patients experiencing respiratory difficulties
• Engage in palliative and hospice care for terminal patients
• Participate in rapid response and code team situations when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification required
• NY State RN license required
• Must have experience with Epic charting system
• Must be flexible with scheduling and comply with the zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and absences
• Candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
