Travel Med Surg/Telemetry PCU RN - $2,578 per week

About the role

As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and managing quality care for patients. This role will involve floating within the same discipline across multiple locations within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage quality care for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Float within the same discipline across multiple locations within the region as needed
• Work 12-hour night shifts, starting at 18:45
• Work every other weekend

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior nursing experience
• Completion of at least 1 travel contract is preferred
• Valid nursing licenses in Illinois and Iowa (IA license to be obtained at the time of offer)
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
• Proficient in administering and titrating medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid driver's license required

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
