About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred.
- Willingness to work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of one year of recent relevant clinical experience.
Skills
