About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Garden City, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
- Complete assignments made by physicians.
- Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
- Absess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
- Administer medication.
- Meticulously document medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
