MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry assignment in Richmond, Kentucky. The position starts on November 9, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts as a travel employee.
Responsibilities
Med‑Surg nurses (RN) provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures and attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. They must be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions. Responsibilities include completing assignments made by physicians, providing routine treatment and post‑surgical care, assessing changes in patient health status and performing various treatments, administering medication, and maintaining meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
- Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility
