ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start date: 11/02/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. Assignment: Inpatient Surgery Unit, managing surgical and trauma cases, working nights 18:45–07:15, 3×12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures or those involved in trauma.
• Manage patient care with a typical ratio of 1:6.
• Assist in various inpatient surgical procedures and trauma cases.
• Utilize specialized equipment including wound vacs, chest tubes, and drains.
• Document patient care and medication administration using EPIC and other systems.
• Participate in teamwork activities, including emergency response as part of the Storm or Hurricane Team if necessary.

Requirements

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in care management, including bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP) management and administration of blood products.
• Ability to start and maintain IVs and manage various types of drains.
• Comfortable with floating as needed within the assigned hospital facilities.
