Travel Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN position in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Start date: 09/06/2026. 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Float across six units: 6N (36 beds), 7N (29 beds), 4N (36 beds), 5S (36 beds), 6S (36 beds), and Critical Care (20 beds)
• Care for patients with CHF, cardiac cath, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic, and oncology conditions
• Interpret telemetry strips on Phillips monitors; no drip titration required
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP (respiratory therapy support provided)
• Report to clinical coordinator at shift start for unit assignment; typically assigned a parent unit and basic telemetry patients
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and participate in holiday rotation
• Patient ratios: primarily 1:5–6, occasionally 1:7 depending on acuity

Requirements

• Current, unexpired driver’s license required at submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass a cardiac rhythm exam; ACLS experience expected to support passing
• Radius rule: 50 miles

Orientation & Support

• 1–2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor
• CNAs available on all units
• Day charge nurse does not take patients; night charge nurse takes an assignment
• Scrubs: royal blue
