Travel Med Surg / Step Down RN - $2,272 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Step Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

About the role

13-week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
