Travel Med Surg RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for diagnostics
• Assist physicians and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient information accurately and manage multiple patients
• Facilitate discharge planning
• Follow infection control protocols and advocate for patients
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred qualifications: NIHSS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Physical stamina and technical aptitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English
