About the Role
The Travel Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care and manage multiple patients
- Ensure safety and infection control
- Advocate for patients and facilitate discharge planning
- Adhere to regulatory standards
- Explain treatments and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support team collaboration
- Ensure a safe, respectful environment for patients
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS
