About the role
We are seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions, monitoring telemetry data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Administering medications and treatments following standards
- Preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians, and monitoring responses
- Documenting patient information and ensuring safety protocols
- Managing multiple patients, prioritizing care, and facilitating discharge planning
- Maintaining infection control practices and advocating for patient needs
Requirements
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC systems
- Ability to work under pressure, adhere to safety protocols, and demonstrate visual acuity
